Crowley OO Gauge Scenic Model Railway Layout Part 21 Station Detail

I have used Peco OO gauge LK-45 Flexible Fencing to separate Crowley station platform from the car park behind it.

I have applied a few imitation enamel advertising signs to the fencing to add a little colour and character.  Enamel advertising signs were once commonplace and real examples can often be seen on many British heritage railways.

I have also added some scratch built OO gauge flower beds to brighten up the station platform.  Even small branch line railway stations and rural halts often had well tended flower beds which provided a pleasing sight to greet passengers as they stepped onto the platform.

A few appropriately themed imitation enamel advertising signs have also been used to enhance the fencing surrounding The Railway Inn.

Crowley is one of my OO gauge scenic model railway layouts.  To see more model railway layout baseboards I have designed and built visit my website www.brianford.co.uk.
